Monroe & Grace was a dream that was brought to life after a lot of loss and a lot of new love. Two families coming together after traumatic experiences our love for one another and our passion for luxury brought us to embark on this journey to create the most beautiful luxury design boutique in Carmel by the Sea. Dr. Robert Gardner is the founder of this business for the sole purpose of making his wife's dreams come true. Megan Monroe will be forever grateful for the opportunity he has provided her.
When one door closes another always opens. Often times with bigger and better opportunities. We are living proof of that.
Monroe & Grace is in the early stages of construction at our flagship store and hope to have our doors open to the public by Christmas of 2024. Until then and as always, we are currently taking an array of private design clients.

Monroe & Grace is a boutique interior design firm specializing in luxury home design. With a passion for beauty and by not being bound by one specific design style, we let each project evolve from the client's personal preferences, the architecture and the site itself. We find inspiration in classic design elements and combine that with each client's own personal style to create a space specific to you. With almost 20 years of collaborating with architects, contractors and artists, Monroe & Grace is well versed in the management of every aspect of a project from original concept to completion. We accept a wide range of residential and commercial projects across the West Coast.
Our flagship store is tucked away on the famous street known as Ocean Avenue in Carmel by the Sea.
